And The Pomona Award Goes To… Little Pomona co-founder

We are thrilled to announce that our own Susanna Forbes has been given the 2021 Pomona Award by CAMRA, for her “outstanding achievement” in the promotion of cider and perry.

“It’s such an honour to be given this award. Thank you CAMRA,” said Susanna. “Joining a roster of names which includes heroes of our's Tom Oliver and Mike Johnson just makes this so special. I still can’t quite believe it!”

CAMRA luminaries travelled from as far afield as East Anglia to mark the event, joining dignitaries, Club members and locals to celebrate cider and perry.

Andrea Briars, Pomona Award coordinator, cited initiatives including the Cider Women group, the groundbreaking Ciderlands conference in 2019, Full Juice magazine and the Discover Cider campaign where Susanna had played a key part.

Susanna dedicated the award to all her collaborators over the years, and to husband and co-founder James, and urged all present to keep on propelling the cider revolution forward.
