LittlePomona-CiderGarden

Our Cider House with its Shop and Tasting Room sits in the shade of the heritage orchard of Brook House Farm, near Bromyard in North Herefordshire.

From April to September, the Tasting Room and Cider Garden opens on Saturday for all.  We will look forward to welcoming you to enjoy our ciders inside, on the patio or in the Cider Garden and under the awnings. Do call ahead if you'd like to reserve your spot.

With several dozen ciders and perries to choose from, we always have half-a-dozen available by the glass each Saturday. As well as our own ciders and perries, we have a small selection of neighbouring fellow artisan producers, plus some of the collaboration ciders - and beers - we have been involved with.

There are specially chosen snacks plus tasty cheese, local meat and vegan platters available.

When harvest hits in October until spring starts to ... spring, in early April, Little Pomona opens the Tasting Room as a Bottle Shop on Saturday, 12-3pm. Pop in to chat cider, peruse the shelves and stock up on cider and perry. And do fix another time if you'd like to visit to collect previous purchases of cider or perry.

    THE TOUR & TASTING Experience

Find out what goes into making our ciders, the wonderful fruit we get to source, the inspiring farmers who tend the orchards, and the techniques, traditional and modern, which enable us to let the apples and pears speak in the most natural way possible.

    WHAT'S NEARBY?

Why not make a trip out of it. For example, good friend and renowned cidermaker Tom Oliver is less than 10 miles away and often open on a Saturday too - check his site for details. Visit Herefordshire have published these handy Cider Trails, with plenty of ideas of how else to tune into this region's rich cider heritage, and their fab new website has a raft of other ways to enjoy the landscape, culture and getting away from it all.

Our neighbours on the farm at Brook House Woods offer luxury tree house escapes and crafty green woodworking courses, while our friends at Rowden Mill Station offer accommodation in their beautifully restored Station House and Parcel Office.

    BROMYARD & BEYOND

The charming market town of Bromyard has a hugely historic hop heritage and a fiercely independent high street. Known as the Town of Festivals, events range from its renowned Folk Festival to the ever-colourful Nozstock to the fleeting Festival of Speed

Head to Destination Bromyard, Visit Herefordshire, and Eat, Sleep Live Herefordshire for more great ideas on what to do and where to explore.

Visit our Where to Stay page for a treasure trove of places to stay.

Hereford is just half-an-hour away, complete with its awe-inspiring Cathedral, the ever-welcoming Hereford Beer House, the glorious Green Dragon Hotel and the Rule of Tum tastemakers for starters. There's alleyways with glorious cheese shops, a wonderful honey haven - even a Secret Bottle Shop.

Hereford's historic Town Hall comes complete with a handy, informative Tourist Information Centre

A visit to the Museum of Cider is a must. Culture, history, atmosphere – and the best selection of the region's ciders and perries bar none, plus a brilliant tea room, what's not to like?!

Check out our handy Taxi page too. This really is worth fixing ahead of time.
