Little Pomona Cider House,
Brook House Farm, Avenbury Lane,
Bromyard HR7 4LB

Come and share the joy of cider and perry at our new Cider House, nestling between the heritage orchard and hop fields of Brook House Farm, near Bromyard in North Herefordshire.

We are open for Drinking In, Take Away sales and Click & Collect. Growler sales and refills are also available, so take away some of our Root & Branch keg conditioned cider in a refillable glass growler.

So come and visit us in this special part of Herefordshire and enjoy a glass of cider overlooking the orchard or peak through into the Cider House.

Find out what goes into making our ciders, the wonderful fruit we get to source, the inspiring farmers who tend the orchards, and the techniques, traditional and modern, which enable us to let the apples and pears speak in the most natural way possible.

We'll share details of places to stay and what else is nearby so you can make a trip out of it. For example, good friend and renowned cidermaker Tom Oliver is less than 10 miles away.

When on Avenbury Lane, whether travelling from the A44 and Bromyard, or from Bishops Frome, look for the entrance signs to Brook House Farm, and then follow signs to Little Pomona, bearing left as you head into the Farm Yard.

If the weather looks precarious, please book with us so we can reserve you a table inside. Unfortunately, if the heavens open and you are outside, unless there are tables available inside, we will not be able to accommodate you.

We have full disabled access, and toilet facilities.

Dogs on a lead are most welcome.

Our neighbours at Brook House Woods on the farm offer luxury tree house escapes and crafty green woodworking courses, while our friends at Rowden Mill Station offer accommodation in their beautifully restored Station House and Parcel Office.

Hereford is just half-an-hour away, complete with its awe-inspiring Cathedral, fascinating Museum of Cider and the ever-welcoming Hereford Beer House, Green Dragon Hotel and the Rule of Tum tastemakers.

The market town of Bromyard has a hugely historic hop heritage and a fiercely independent high street. Known as the Town of Festivals, events range from its Folk Festival to the ever-colourful Nozstock to the fleeting Festival of Speed.

The Michelin-starred Pensons is just beyond Bromyard – we are thrilled to be stocked by them and are working with them on a special project... but more on that later!

We look forward to when you can come and visit.
