Taking The Tour

Little Pomona is excited to be heading out to share Disco Nouveau 2022 as part of its Cider Is Not Just For Summer campaign.

"Each of the stops on the tour is special," says co-founder Susanna. "They are all going the extra mile in sharing artisan cider, and we are proud to be on their shelves and in their fridges. We'll have tastes, chats and nibbles throughout. Do come and join us."

First stop last week saw Susanna and James as guests of Cardiff Cider Club with Helen and Rachel amid the joy that is Bacareto.

THE BIG WEEKEND

The Herefordshire heartland weekend kicks off on Thursday with The Yew Tree Inn, Peterstow, home to ever-inspiring Ross Cider & Perry. "Food friendliness is a constant theme with our ciders," says Susanna. "At The Yew Tree Inn, we'll be able to test out Disco Nouveau with CPK's famed Neapolitan pizzas."

Friday night Little Pomona is at Hereford Beer House, home of fine cider as well as glorious beers. Pictured here on a recent cidery visit, their bar boasts nine flavours of crisps! Which will go best? Only #research will tell.

It's back to base on Saturday, with the Tasting Room at Brook House Farm opening the bottles, matching with cheese straws, Legges charcuterie and Worcester Hop nibbles.

Finally Sunday the cidery is the guest of Micaela and Dan, pictured, at the Rose & Lion pub in Bromyard, alongside one of Herefordshire's best known flavour artistes, the Beefy Boys.

COUNTRY WIDE

On International Women's Day, 8 March, Susanna heads to Sheffield joining Jules Grey, owner of Hop Hideout, for a special evening as part of Sheffield Beer Week. A Tale Of Two Women sees them reflect over the last decade, what's it's meant for women in both beer and cider. Tickets available via EventBrite.

The award-winning Stirchley Wines in Birmingham is next with our host Krishan, before Louise at Webbs of Wychbold picks up the baton in its comprehensively tempting Food Hall.

Cheese and cider pairing is on the cards for The Grumpy Goat in Reading in April, before the final date, at the Real Al Co & Trap Taproom in Walthamstow with the London Cider Club.
