We love beer here at Little Pomona and think good beer has so much in common with good cider. We are on a mission to share good cider with our beer drinking brethren and so we’ve selected three from our range that we think might appeal.
For our pale ale lovers we've got our joyful, vibrant Stoke Red Pet Nat 2023. A cider that pours a slightly hazy gold, releasing lovely aromas of tarte Tatin, roses and baking spice. In the mouth it has noticeable sweetness, but it’s the sheer juiciness and energy of the liquid that grabs your attention before flavours of warm apple pie, ripe cherries and vanilla begin to unfurl.
Normally an IPA fan? Our Kingston Black, Hill Farm 2022 pours with lots of sweet blossom, apple pie and icing sugar aromas before moving onto quite concentrated flavours of honey, peach, dried apple, vanilla and fruit cake spice. All of this is enlivened with fresh acidity and the softest of tannins to make it a juicy mouthful of joy!
Finally, for fans of Imperial Stouts there's Thick Cut Yarlington Mill with its bold autumnal flavours of candied apricot, orange oils, winter spices and sweet fruity richness from time in ex-cognac casks is a cider that lovers of barrel-aged beers will adore!
