James Crowden's new book, Cider Country - How an Ancient Craft Became a Way of Life, has hit the shelves!

Known by many as the bard of cider, James' earlier cider books are legendary, inspiring many, including this writer, to delve that bit deeper and – as we did – become totally enthralled with the world of cider. In this new tome, James' ability to convey the oft-complex scenarios surrouding the history of cider with driving clarity remains as sharp – and entertaining – as ever.

In true style, James himself has gone ever deeper, stretching back centuries skirting Shakespeare's time, navigating Newfoundland quests, and exploring the birth of bottle fermentation along the way.
