Come Share Tastes & Tales With Little Pomona During 2024

Little Pomona's 2024 diary has been unveiled, with highlights including our first Summer Solstice Weekend, Seasonal Open Days, tap takeovers, festivals, gastronomic escapades and pure cider exploration!

From now until the mid-October, you'll find us up and down the land, and it would be lovely to see you and to share a glass or two.

In addition, there are a dozen opportunities to go behind the scenes with the founders for bespoke tours & tastings. Limited to just a dozen spaces per tour, these finish with a specially curated cheese and cider pairing session.

Events kick off with the Spring Open Day on Saturday 13 April, the day the Tasting Room re-open for the season. Join us to welcome in the new, with fresh releases, alongside the best current ciders and perries for the coming months. Enjoy specially chosen small plates and cheeses too. We will be tapping the final Disco Nouveau keg, marking the finale of the Disco Nouveau roadshow.

The Summer Solstice Weekend is 22 & 23 June, the highlight of which will be a Perry Soirée hosted by Adam Wells, author of Perry: A Drinkers' Guide. As well as hearing from Adam, we will enjoy tastes from producers featured in his book. 6pm, 22 June.

Behind the scenes tours will run on Sunday 23 June, for those who want to make a weekend of it.

Our Harvest Weekend falls at the close of the 2024 Applefest fortnight. The perfect long weekend, Perry Day is taking place once more at The Courtyard, Hereford, Applefest Banquet is on Saturday 12 October, and our Harvest Open Day with a chance to see into the cidery in mid-flow will be Sunday 13 October.

Spring 2024

March sees us take the Disco Nouveau roadshow and Cider For All Seasons campaign to the bright lights of London, Manchester, Sheffield, Cardiff and Chester before returning closer to home at The Nags Head in Malvern, closing the tour back in our Tasting Room.

Back to Sheffield for a tap takeover at The Old Shoe in April before not one, but two Trade Tastings: Brunswick House on the 22nd with the Fine Cider Company, and Les Caves de Pyrene's Real Wine Fair at Tobacco Dock on 28th and 29th.

Join us at Webbs of Wychbold on 3 May for the most tasty Cyder Masterclass you will ever experience - four ciders, each paired with both a sweet and a savoury match.

On the 9 May we'll be popping over to O'Briens in Holmfirth for collab chat with our good friends at Deya, with a special Crossovers & Co-ferments evening.

Spirit of Summer

Of course, you'll find us at the original Bristol Cider Salon, taking place this year on 29 June. And also we'll be in the Big Smoke, as Tate Modern hosts the second London Cider Salon on 11 May.

For us, June will be all about the Summer Solstice Weekend, but you'll also find us pouring at These Hills festival in June in Sussex - always a cracker!

Then it's a busy July hoves. We'll be exploring the joy of tannins at Manchester Cider Club on July 11, chatting cheese with Angus Birditt at the Hawarden Summer Camp, North Wales on 20 July, before joining Deya on 27 July as its cider guest at this year's Little Summer Beer Bash.

Check out our Events page for further details, and do get in touch with any questions.

We will be adding to our Where To Stay page for those coming to visit us, and Visit Herefordshire, Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire, and Destination Bromyard are also great sources of information
