Powering The Cider Renaissance

Calling all cider producers - and those who want to join the cider renaissance - who's heading to BevExpo on 7 or 8 June? If you're within striking distance of Manchester, do come and join us!

Susanna will be hosting a workshop - High Five! Powering the Cider Renaissance at midday on 8 June, while Pommelier, Cath Potter will be leading a Cider Women panel discussion, Challenging Perceptions: Promoting Diversity In Cider at 1pm.

You'll also be able to taste with some of Cider Women's leading producers in the show's new feature, Taste Town, including Blue Barrel, Cidentro and Welsh Mountain Cider.

BevExpo is hosted by the BFBI for producers of all drinks. Also the home of the International Brewing & Cider Awards, chaired by Gabe Cook, the BFBI is a body that understands what it means to be a craft cider producer - our quest and our aspirations.

With her workshop, Susanna is looking forward with five themes: The fruit 🍎 The taste 🍎 The look 🍎 The crew, & 🍎 The future.

As always, there will be tastes to back things up.

Along with Little Pomona's What Does It Mean To Be Different? our new fund-raiser with diversity champion and ethical drinks creator, Alex Fatho Bland of Place of the Way, and Cider Is Wine, Susanna will be sharing tastemakers from Ross Cider, trailblazers from Nightingale Cider, plus a sneak preview of a collaboration we've been involved with with DEYA (top secret until official launch on Friday 10 June).
