Table Cider 5 - The Bottle Harvest

For many, the advent of a new year seems to bring about a renewed sense of focus. For us at Little Pomona all this renewed energy and focus has been channelled into a frenzy of seemingly unending bottling sessions.

We've started referring to this time as "The Bottle Harvest", because we've spent the majority of January unloading, washing, filling, capping, packing, and stacking thousands of bottles. These bottles are filled with magical new ciders and perries (and ciderkins!) at various stages of readiness. 

Some will need time to condition, some will need time to "open up", some are ready to go. Some feel like Spring releases and others feel like they won't be ready until Summer or Fall.

Regardless, they've all been part of the Bottle Harvest.

Our heads have been down, our bodies are sore (especially James' hand), and the music has only stopped when the day's liquid is all in bottle and packed away.

This playlist has helped get us through it all, along with countless albums from all these amazing artists -- especially Frank Zappa. What a wild dude.
