Table Cider #9 with Harley Alexander

Hi Everyone - Blair here!

As many of you know, harvest is well underway for the crew at Little Pomona. Everyone is busy working on a million things at the same time - picking, pressing, organising, moving, clearing, cleaning - all in the flurry of our busiest time of year.

I, on the other hand, am currently back in Canada waiting on the lovely UK Government to sort out my visa and let me back into the UK! So for the time being I’ve been spending a lot of time catching up with friends and family and making some small batches of cider from whatever apples I can manage to forage over this way.

One of the best things about being back home has been the chance to spend time with my good buddy Harley Alexander. Harley is one of my favourite people on the planet and he and I have been making music together for over 10 years. He’s one of the most open and honest musicians that I know and jumping back into playing together felt insanely natural and familiar. Harley is an amazing and inspiring human who also happens to make totally striking music. I am so insanely happy that we got the opportunity to sit around and drink some cider together and play some tunes. I couldn’t think of a better person to help us with a playlist.

Be sure to check out Harley’s music on Bandcamp or Spotify

Harley says:

Hi, I’m Harley Alexander ~ musician, tree-planter, carpenter, tailor, and quite possibly a new employee of the UN. Got a job interview coming up this week so fingers' crossed.

I’ve made this playlist as requested by my old friend, Little Pomona cider-maker, Blair Côté. It’s made up of songs that I’m really into at the moment. It’s my hope that this music goes down as smooth as the cider you’re about to enjoy!

Tears in the cider, songs to weepeth amongst, friends til the end, sunset riders, sweet buds, let it flow, now, and forever.
We gallop unto the great unknowing.

Cheers, H
