Tastes & Treats at Webbs of Wychbold

Many moons ago, I was kindly invited to the launch of Eureka, the cider crafted by Tom Oliver in collaboration with Louise Webb and her team for their inspirational Webbs Garden Centres and Food Hall. My first journey to Wychbold, and what a great evening it was. Beautifully paired food created to match the seductive bittersweet tannins of Tom's cider.

Fast forward, and how excited are we to be working with Louise, Ed, Beth, Mark and Myles. Our ciders have been on their shelves since before Christmas - thanks guys - and tomorrow, Saturday 25 March, our Cider Is Not Just For Summer campaign hits Webbs!

While James is sharing our ciders out at the International Cider Summit Asturias, I'll be in Webbs sharing Disco Nouveau 2022 between 12 and 3pm with tasty bites Beth and I have rustled up from around the Food Hall (that bit was fun!). Disco Nouveau is our first cider from last season and it shouts seasonality, with all that sun, freshness and vitality. Pure enjoyment, with the breadth of flavour to go brilliantly with food.

So what's going to be your favourite match? We've got tasty Worcestershire Gold cheese, authentic Spanish chorizo, herbed olives, and - of course - Hereford Hop Cheese & Onion crisps from Two Farmers.

As well as Disco Nouveau, I'm going to be opening our popular Table Cider, plus one other - at the moment it's hard to choose between Tiny Dancer, with that bit of spice, or Hard Rain - Hot Pink, with its refreshing zest - as it blows a gale outside, I think I'll let the weather tomorrow decide.

Wychbold is handily located between Droitwich and Bromsgrove, so not far from Worcester and Birmingham, and a nip and a tuck off the M5. Webbs also on local bus routes.
There's absolutely loads in Webbs itself, so don't get lost and do come and find me - cheers!
