Club Tropicana is a co-ferment of Ellis Bitter and Tremlett’s Bitter apples with an orchard blend of perry pears. After fermentation, it was aged in barrel on the lees of a recently emptied quince wine.
Deep gold in colour, heading towards amber, this is super tropical on the nose, all grilled pineapple, lemon verbena, perfumed honey, vanilla and sweet florality.
In the mouth it’s a real tropical fruit basket – Opal Fruit juiciness and ripe mango, with more pineapple, star fruit and kiwi and another flourish of that floral perfume. Despite its intensity the cider remains super drinkable and moreish
